De Paardenkamp

De Paardenkamp started on a small meadow with 4 stables, but has grown into a mature organization with several locations, its own meadows and a Paddock Paradise.

Stichting De Paardenkamp was looking for a way to give their target group – older horses – more opportunities for natural foraging behaviour. Our assignment was to make a design in consultation with the board and a landscape architect appointed by the municipality that would fit into the surrounding landscape.

The design takes into account different vantage points for both visitors and the horses. In total, approximately 2 km of path has been laid, approximately 4.500 m1 of fencing, a pool of 1.250 m2 and more than 16.000 m2 of open space for the horses.
